Welcome to Clarewood Condominiums a 55+ Community

When you first see Clarewood Condominiums as you drive along 32nd Street and Lugers road, everything  you see is OUR village, i.e. we are all co-owners. The signs at the entrances, the streets that come off 32nd Street and Lugers Road, the buildings, divided into 88 individual units, the trees, the shrubs, the grass--all of this belongs to all of the co-owners.

What is a condominium?

The word is Latin, meaning common ownership or control.  It has been defined as an 'internal cube of air', that is, it generally means all the space, inside the inner walls of an apartment or house. You own this space, and it is yours to decorate, to maintain, to live in. Everything else in the condominium development--the exterior walls, the grounds, and so on--is the common property of everyone who owns a unit there and is termed 'common element'." (quoted from The Condominium Buyer's Handbook, published by the Corporation & Securities Bureau of the Michigan Department of Commerce.)
